iFo2 for web shops: different modules

iFo2 for web shops is a web based software solution consisting of different modules. On this page you find a short description of each module.

Web shop module

With the web shop module of iFo2 for web shops you define the structure, architecture, process flows and design of your web shop, as well as the product visualisation. You create products, product groups, product categories, related products, apparel products, shippable products, non shippable products (e. gift vouchers),  promotional products, etc..

You can manage discounts and prices with different display options for prices or discounts, e.g. based on user or customer type, friend’s pricing, reseller’s pricing. etc. With this web shop module you also define currencies, tax rates (if required on a country or regional base) and delivery timings and you decide on stock visualisation and order conditions (e.g. only orders for products in stock are allowed, only orders from region x are accepted, etc), but also how customers can access your products (e.g. filtering of products in categories)

The web shop module of iFo2 for web shops is an extremely powerful and flexible module, the core of your web shop.

Website content module

An offline shop is always located in a building. A beautiful, clean and comfortable offline shop in an ugly or user unfriendly building will be avoided or distrusted by many customers and will attract less customers. The same applies for a web shop. An online shop or web shop is always part of a website. The website can be seen as the building where the web shop is located. If the web shop is located in or part of an ugly or user unfriendly website, the web shop will be distrusted, avoided and will attract less visitors and customers.

The website content module of iFo2 for web shops creates a proper  website to locate your web shop, completely in line with your design and architecture requirements and expectations. Create with this module content like company information, contact details, news, news archive, newsletter subscriptions, opening hours, product information,  informational pages, service information, etc. … The website content module is an easy to use Content Management System (CMS).

Payment & check-out module

With the payment & check-out module of iFo2 for web shops you define the structure, architecture, process flow and design of the check-out module and shopping cart of your web shop. You choose the different payment methods and currencies. Different currencies are possible depending on country or region. You also decide if customers can check-out with or without user account and which shipping options you will allow. 

The payment & check-out module is seamlessly integrated with the payment module for secure and safe online payments of Ogone, a leading European Payment Service Provider.

Shipping module

In the shipping module of iFo2 for web shops you define the different shipping methods (normal, express, etc.) and shipping prices. You can define prices based on country of destination, or weight  and discounts can be granted depending on the value of the order (e.g. free shipping as of 50 €).

The shipping module of the iFo2 for web shops is seamlessly integrated with the courier services for local shipments of Taxipost, a business unit of the Belgian Post and market leader in parcel delivery to consumers in Belgium.

User or customer account module

The user or customer account module of iFo2 for web shops is the central place for users to add and edit customer information like name, (unlimited number of) address(es) for shipping or billing and special discount programs they are entitled to.

In this module customers can view the status of their orders and their order history. They also can request support or an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) directly from an order in their order history or manage newsletter subscriptions.

Search engine optimization (SEO) module

In the search engine optimization (SEO) module of iFo2 for web shops you find all the tools to get the necessary basics of your web shop and website SEO-friendly: meta tags like keywords, descriptions, H1-H2-H3 tagging, url rewrites, url redirects, generation of Google site map, etc.

SEO-friendly content is one thing, getting the basics right for SEO is another.

Marketing & web 2.0 module

With the marketing & web 2.0 module of iFo2 for web shops we provide marketing and web 2.0 tools to increase and improve your online presence and the number of visitors: Facebook and Twitter linking, a forum, blogs, affiliate programs, send to a friend emails, RSS feeds, customer reviews, customer scores, gift vouchers or gift certificates, newsletters, informational pages, search engine optimization (SEO – see Search engine optimization module), etc.

Warehouse module

The warehouse module of iFo2 for web shops is developed to make the picking, handling and shipping of your orders smoothly and easy: automatic generated invoices, delivery notes and shipping documents,  easy activation of shipping, automatic stock adjustments, automatic shipping notifications to your customer, …

Stock management module

With the stock management module of iFo2 for web shops you can manage your stock or inventory. View, add, adjust management stock, physical stock or logical stock.

Finance module

The finance module of iFo2 for web shops allows you to get the necessary financial information and reports for your accountant. You can also use this module to define taxes and currencies (see also Web shop module).

Order management module

With the order management module of iFo2 for web shops you are able to view, edit, create and fulfil orders.  You can view a status overview of all orders in process and of all transactions.

Site management module

With the site management module of iFo2 for web shops you control several features of your web shop. You can define and assign permission or discount roles (e.g. end-user, reseller, distributor, …), reset passwords, decide on site information, define automated email flows, create or edit emails, etc.

Visitor analytics & reporting module

The visitor analytics & reporting module of iFo2 for web shops, provides you valuable information about the visitors of your web shop and website, page views, keywords, traffic sources, referring sites, search engines used to find your web shop, countries, etc. This module is integrated with Google Analytics.

Localisation & translation module

With the localisation and translation module of iFo2 for web shops you manage the translation or localisation of your web shop to other languages.
